College Internship Opportunities

  • Rising Earth is a nonprofit dedicated to educating future leaders on environmental issues and actions. We believe that shifting culture towards awareness and reciprocity is key to healing the planet and ourselves. We currently run year-round programs in NYC and LA, and graphic journalism and creativity are at the heart of these programs. The Rising Earth team also creates graphic novels, curricula, and experiential learning opportunities that explore our human impacts on the environment–all co-created with youth from our programs. Our high school teens get the chance to explore nature and learn to look inward, investigating their own personal impacts, voice, and worldviews–all aspects deeply embedded in our mission at Rising Earth. Our college interns play a key role in various aspects of our programming and operations. All youth in our programs experience what it’s like to work in a collaborative space where their voices and thoughts are honored, encouraged, and amplified.
